 Summer Assignments & Pre-Course Assignments

  • Shades Valley creative writing students would like to invite you to a book signing for The Valley Echoes on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 6:30 in the evening, at the Books-A-Million in Brookwood Village Mall.
  • As a class project, the creative writing students in Ms. Douglass's class chose one or more selections to submit in a compilation of student writing, photography, and art to the Books-A-Million Publishing Competition. Our compilation, titled The Valley Echoes, was awarded third place in the competition.
  • To celebrate our students' accomplishment, Books-A-Million is hosting a book signing for us. Books will be available for purchase for $15.00 at the book signing. All royalties go directly back to the school.
